do aliens exist?

astronomer.png

Scientists of Earth

have not yet confirmed the existence of extraterrestrial life

Also known as ALIEN life, extraterrestrial life is life that may be found outside of Planet Earth

We don't know for sure what's out there, but alien life could range from small bacteria to interesting animals, and even intelligent beings from advanced civilizations!

NASA's Kepler Space Telescope has discovered thousands of 'Earthlike' exoplanets that could potentially host life.

An exoplanet is a planet outside of Earth's star system.

Star System:
Planets that orbit a star

Earth's star system is called the Solar System -- named after its star, the Sun!

These are exoplanets:

They are revolving around a different star

Here are some 'Earthlike' exoplanets

discovered by the Kepler Space Telescope in far away Star Systems:

We can only assume that the laws of

chemistry and physics

observed in Earth's solar system

also apply in other parts of the universe.

WATER is the foundation of all life on Earth

There is no living thing on Earth that can survive without water

Luckily, the ingredients for water:
Hydrogen and Oxygen

are very common in the Universe!

If a planet is too close to its star, the water will burn up and turn into gas!

If a planet is too far away from its star, the water will freeze!

An "Earthlike" exoplanet

revolves around its star

at a distance that is

not too hot, and not too cold for water to gather on its surface.

Because it's just right!

Kepler 452B

Star: Kepler 452A

It is the only

lonely planet

in the

Kepler 452

Star System.

It takes 385 Days to rotate around its star

Compared to earth's 365

And it is 1.5 Billion years older than the Earth

So if intelligent alien life exists on Kepler 452B,

it's possible that the civilization is much older than Humans on earth,

and quite possibly far more advanced.

Maybe even with the technology to visit earth!
