are very common in the Universe!
If a planet is too close to its star, the water will burn up and turn into gas!
If a planet is too far away from its star, the water will freeze!

not too hot, and not too cold for water to gather on its surface.

it's possible that the civilization is much older than Humans on earth,
and quite possibly far more advanced.
